Willemstad, Curaçao has been on the UNESCO World Heritage list since 1997.

In 2023, the island achieved a noteworthy milestone by welcoming a record-breaking 582,409 stayover visitors, reflecting a remarkable 19% growth compared to 2022. This achievement enhances Curaçao’s position as an increasingly popular travel destination in the Caribbean.

Curaçao has a rich heritage with a cultural melting pot influenced by the African, Dutch, South American and Caribbean cultures.

Curaçao is increasingly gaining recognition as an ideal destination, often referred to as the best-kept
secret in the Caribbean and the ultimate travel experience by many renowned travel publications.

Curaçao has a vibrant nightlife, more than 60 impressive world-class diving sites and beautiful beaches. Water activities can vary from swimming with the dolphins to discovering the sea at a depth of 320 meters with the submarine. Outdoor adventures include: (kite) surfing, hiking, and ATV tours amongst many things to do.

Curaçao goes beyond natural beauty, offering a luxurious championship golf course, upscale casinos, and high-end retail stores. The island also hosts internationally acclaimed events like the North Sea Jazz Festival and the Carnival, attracting visitors from around the globe.

Curaçao welcomes several major cruise lines throughout the year into the port of Willemstad, the island’s capital. Willemstad is also an UNESCO World Heritage Site because of its rich cultural diversity, authenticity, and historic influence that is still present in the colonial-style architecture today.

Curaçao has two port facilities for cruise liners of all sizes: the Mega Cruise terminal right outside the harbor and the Cruise terminal within the harbor. These seaports are natural shelter ports.

Some of the Cruise operators coming to Curaçao are: Royal Caribbean, MSC Cruises, Holland America Line, Celebrity Cruises, Carnival Cruise Lines, Princess Cruises, Norwegian Cruise Line, Regent Seven Seas Cruises and TUI Cruises.
