CINEX Informs: Upcoming Missions
Curaçao Investment & Export Promotion Agency (CINEX) announced its upcoming series of export and business initiatives for 2025, aimed at positioning Curaçao as a regional leader in trade and investment. These initiatives, guided by the agency’s strategic 2025 Action Plan, will serve as platforms for international collaboration, enhancing economic growth, and promoting Curaçao as a hub for global business.
The first highlight of the year is the International Business Conference (IBC) 2025, scheduled to take place from February 4-6, 2025, at the Assuria Event Center in Paramaribo, Suriname. This event brings together stakeholders from Suriname, Guyana, and the wider Caribbean to explore business opportunities, promote foreign capital investment, and discuss critical sectors such as trade, energy, finance, and technology.
Why Are We Attending IBC 2025?
IBC 2025 offers a unique platform for international companies and investment promotion agencies to:
- Connect with local businesses and policymakers in Suriname and Guyana.
- Explore investors for local projects and investment opportunities for our own businesses that want to expand in thriving industries such as renewable energy, logistics, and manufacturing.
- Participate in business matchmaking sessions designed to forge meaningful partnerships.
“Participation in IBC 2025 aligns perfectly with CINEX’s mission to promote Curaçao as a competitive export hub and a destination for high-value investments,” said Miles Mercera, CEO of CINEX. “This conference is an opportunity for Curaçaoan businesses to showcase their expertise, expand their networks, and establish Curaçao’s presence in regional markets.”
In addition to the IBC, CINEX will be engaging in other key initiatives this first quarter, including:
- Dutch Caribbean Meets Panama Trade Mission (February 11-15, 2025), which will highlight Curaçao’s strengths in logistics, maritime services, and renewable energy.
- The Guyana Energy Conference & Supply Chain Expo: (February 18-21, 2025) Highlight Curaçao’s port infrastructure, logistics capabilities, and renewable energy expertise while connecting with key players in Guyana’s energy sector.
CINEX invites local and international businesses, investors, and partners to connect with us to learn more about these initiatives and how to get involved. By joining forces, we can unlock new opportunities for collaboration and economic growth in the region.
